IPL 2021 end of League phase

The end IPL league phase has come to an end with only 2 matches left before the playoffs. Delhi capitals and Royal challengers Bangalor are both already qualified for the playoffs the only question from this match is can RCB win by a big enough margin to beat CSK on net run rate to 2nd position.

The 2nd match how ever is more interesting as Mumbai indians take on the Sunrisers Hydrabad and Mumbai need to win by a maring of 170 plus to beat KKR on net run rate and secure the last position in the playoffs. If MI bowl first then they have no chance of qualifying for the playoffs as it will be very tough for them to equal KKRs net run rate. So can mumbai pull off a miricale and qualify for the playoffs or is it too late.

The most interesting thing is both matches will be going on at the same time similtancely. It will be interesting to see which match fans choose to watch as its going to be entertainment galore.

IPL has always been full of entertainment and the decision of who makes the playoffs has always gone down to the wire so are we in for another surprise and nail bitting end the league phase of the IPL. This is also the last time it will be an 8 team league as from next year onwards it will be a 10 team tournament.

The 2 new teams will revealed a week after this years IPL completes. To follow the IPL we have the T20 world cup 2021 so for cricket lovers its full on cricket as after 5 years a new T20 world champ will be crowned.

I'm excited for the next couple weeks of cricket are you guys. Do comment your thoughts in the comment section.

The second test match between Proteas and India kicked off on a high note with the hosts putting up a horrendous batting performance on day 1. He was equally supported by Mukesh and Bumrah both taking 2 wickets each.  The Indian team lost their first wicket early on, with Jaiswal departing for a duck. Pakistan vs Australia 2nd test Day 1 review

Australia and Pakistan faced off in the second Test match at MSG. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors started well with opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza getting the ball to move off the seam. However, the Australian batter struck back with a good opening partnership of 90 runs. Australia finished the day at 187/3 off 66 overs as rain played spoilsport, with Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal the pick of the bowlers. It was a tough day for the Pakistani bowlers as they struggled to cause Australian bowlers for long enough periods at a time, but they will look to bounce back on Day 2. The Australian batsman will be aiming to put up a big total for their bowlers to bowl too. Overall, it was an exciting day of Test cricket and fans can look forward to more action in the coming days.  Writer: Ebrahim Yusuf Omar
