SA20 match 13 Preview

SA20 match 2nd match today is a repeat of yesterday's encounter at the Wanderers. The Pretoria Capitals vs the Joburg Super Kings at Supersport park Centurion tonight.

The Capitals will be looking to put yesterday's defeat behind them and use their home conditions to get one back at the Super kings.

The Super Kings will want to continue to build some momentum on yesterday's victory and beat their neighbours for a 2nd day straight.

Both teams might rotate their fast bowlers as they look to manage their workload going further into the competition.

I think Centurion will be a good pitch to bat on and the team chasing should win this one.

News from the toss is Capitals have won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Capitals are unchanged while Super Kings have made 2 changes.

Pretoria Capitals: 1: Phil Salt, 2: Will Jacks, 3: Rilee Rossouw, 4: Theunis de Bruyn, 5: Shane Dadswell, 6: James Neesham, 7: Ethan Bosh, 8: Wayne Parnell, 9: Migael Pretorius, 10: Adil Rashid, 11: Anrich Nortje

Joburg Super Kings : 1: Faf du Plessis, 2: Reeza Hendricks, 3: Leus du Plooy, 4: Kyle Verrynne, 5: Lewis Gregory, 6: Donovan Ferreira, 7:  Romario Sheperd, 8: Alzarri Joseph, 9: Gerald Coetzee, 10: Nandre Burger, 11: Aaron Phangiso

SA20 review

The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage.  The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.  SA20 season 2 saw some unbelievable performances with quite a few young South African players taking the opportunity and shining. Australia vs Pakistan 3rd test Day 1 review

The third test match between Australia and Pakistan kicked off today at the SCG Sydney. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. However, their decision did not go well as the Australian bowlers dominated the Pakistani batsmen from the very beginning. Pakistan lost their openers, Abdulla Shafiq and Saim Ayub early in the innings and were struggling to recover from there. Babar Azam and Shan Masood tried to stabilize the innings, but the Australian bowlers kept on taking wickets at regular intervals. Mohammed Rizwan, Agha Salaman and Aamer Jamal played some excellent innings in the lower middle order to rescue Pakistan  At the end of the day, Pakistan were bowled out for 313 runs. Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers for Australia, taking 5 wickets for 61 runs.  Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets, while Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Starc and Mitchell Marsh took 1 wicket each. Australia are 6-0 at stumps trailing by 307 runs  Australia will be happy with th...
