Australia trash Proteas to win 2nd T20 by 8 wickets

In a one-sided match between Australia and South Africa, the Australian cricket team emerged victorious with an impressive 8-wicket win over their opponents at Kingsmead. The match was a display of skill and determination from both teams, with moments of excitement and tension throughout. Australia's players delivered a standout performance, showcasing their abilities in both batting and bowling. The Proteas team for this series is made of ODI players and some SA20 stars and is nowhere near what the Proteas T20 team should look like. The likes of Bavuma, Van Der Dussan and Ngidi are in the team to get them game time ahead of the ODI series against Australia. This series' main purpose for Proteas is to get rid of the off-season rustiness of players who haven't played for the past 5 months to make sure they are ready for the World Cup.

SA20 review

The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage. The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Proteas vs West Indies 1st test review

Protea's new era started off very well as they scored 314-8 on day 1 of the first test of this series. The day started with Proteas winning the toss and choosing to bat first. The Proteas got off to a great start as Elgar and Markram batted through too Lunch as they put together an opening Partnership of 99 in the morning session. The afternoon session was again dominated by Proteas as a further 107 added for the loss of 1 wicket. The wicket that fell during the afternoon session was that of Elgar for a well-played 71 off 118. Markram and the debutant De Zorzi then continued to bat untroubled as they put together a partnership of 78 off 127 before De Zorzi ran himself out and this triggered a collapse by Proteas as they lost 7 wickets in the last session of the day.
