Australia trash Proteas to win 2nd T20 by 8 wickets

In a one-sided match between Australia and South Africa, the Australian cricket team emerged victorious with an impressive 8-wicket win over their opponents at Kingsmead. The Proteas team for this series is made of ODI players and some SA20 stars and is nowhere near what the Proteas T20 team should look like. The likes of Bavuma, Van Der Dussan and Ngidi are in the team to get them game time ahead of the ODI series against Australia. This series' main purpose for Proteas is to get rid of the off-season rustiness of players who haven't played for the past 5 months to make sure they are ready for the World Cup.

Proteas vs India 2nd test Day 1 review

The second test match between Proteas and India kicked off on a high note with the hosts putting up a horrendous batting performance on day 1. The Proteas team won the toss and elected to bat first, but they failed to make the most of the opportunity as the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the home team's batting line-up bowling them out for 55. Mohammed Siraj was the chief destroyer with 6 wickets for 15 runs in 9 overs. He was equally supported by Mukesh and Bumrah both taking 2 wickets each. The Indian team lost their first wicket early on, with Jaiswal departing for a duck. The rest of the top-order batsmen struggled to get going as well, and the team was bowled out for 153. However, a brilliant counter-attacking innings from Markram helped the home team to 62-3 at stumps to steady the ship. CSA 4 Day series Review

The CSA 4 day series has come to an end with Titans being crowned champions of division 1 and Northen Cape Heat champions of division 2. There have been some great performances through the season with both divisions going into the last round with 3 teams still having a chance to win the tournament. Division 2 was most dominated by Northern Cape Heat for the first couple of rounds until the loss to South Western Districts in beating Northern Cape South Western Districts kept their hopes alive as well as the Tuskers going into the last round any of these 3 could have been crowned champions. It was the Northern Cape Heat who would come out on top after drawing the match while the Hollywoodbets Tuskers also settled for a draw and the South Western Districts lost their match.
