SA20 match 30 preview

The last league phase match of the SA20 has a lot to play for as the Capitals take on the Royals in Centurion. The Royals need to win or avoid defeat by a huge margin to seal the last spot in the playoffs.

The Capitals are already qualified for the playoffs, but a heavy defeat could see them slip to 2nd position on the table. They would want to win and build some momentum before the semifinals. Especially after the heavy defeat in the last match.

The Royals will want to win to avoid falling into a net run rate battle with the Super Giants for the last semifinal spot. They will hope their senior players make it count today when it matters the most.

This will be an entertaining match as the pitch at centurion has been offering a good balance for bat and ball.

SA20 review

The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage. The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1. Australia vs Pakistan 3rd test day 3 review

The third day of the third Test match between Australia and Pakistan was exciting, with both teams battling it out on the field. Australia resumed on 116-2 with Labuschange and Smith continuing to score steadily and take Australia closer to Pakistan's first innings score of 313. Labuschange and Smith added 71 runs before both Smith and Labuschange lost their wickets one after the other. Australia then managed a few small partnerships to take their score to 289 before collapsing to 299 all out giving Pakistan a first-innings lead of 14 runs. Pakistan began their 2nd innings in the worst way possible by losing 2 quick wickets in opener Abdulla Shafiq and Captain Shan Masood both for ducks.
