SA20 match 32 preview

The 2nd semifinal today between Super Kings and Sunrisers is taking place at centurion and the Super Kings have won the toss and chose to bowl first. This is not a surprising decision as the pitch has been undercover due to the rain for the last 2 days.

The pitch should have moisture on it which will provide some assistance for the seamers. I expect the pitch to big a tough one for batsmen to get started on. I think a total of 150 to 160 is defendable similar to yesterday.

The Sunrisers will be hoping their batsman can provide them with a platform to get a defendable score on the board and they will hope their key players stand up and make it count in this all-important encounter.

Super Kings will hope their experienced players can come to the party and make it count in this knockout game the most experienced in these types of situations is their captain Du Plessis.

Both teams will hope the rain stays away so they can get a full game and entertain the crowd at Supersport park Centurion.

My prediction is the Sunrisers will win and join the Capitals in the final.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd test day 3 review

The third day of the third Test match between Australia and Pakistan was exciting, with both teams battling it out on the field. Australia resumed on 116-2 with Labuschange and Smith continuing to score steadily and take Australia closer to Pakistan's first innings score of 313. Labuschange and Smith added 71 runs before both Smith and Labuschange lost their wickets one after the other. Australia then managed a few small partnerships to take their score to 289 before collapsing to 299 all out giving Pakistan a first-innings lead of 14 runs. Pakistan began their 2nd innings in the worst way possible by losing 2 quick wickets in opener Abdulla Shafiq and Captain Shan Masood both for ducks. SA20 review

The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage. The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.
