Australia thrash SA by 111 runs

 Australia produced an exceptional performance to beat South Africa by a massive 111 runs in the first T20 match of the series. It was a commanding display from the Aussies, who dominated with both bat and ball. The victory will give them a lot of confidence going into the next game. South Africa will need to regroup quickly if they are to mount a comeback in the series. Pakistan put up an impressive performance in their Asia Cup opener against Nepal, securing a resounding victory by a whopping 238 runs. The team played exceptionally well and displayed great teamwork throughout the match, with each player contributing to the win. Pakistan Roar to No1 ODI Rankings  Pakistan secured a comfortable victory against Afghanistan in the 3rd ODI match held in Colombo. The Pakistani team displayed a commendable performance both in batting and bowling, resulting in a win by 59 runs. After winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat first and set a challenging total on the scoreboard. They lost early wickets but managed to stabilize their innings. Babar and Rizwan's half-centuries and some late innings hitting by Agha Salaman and Nawaz helped Afghanistan reach a total of 268 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.  Pakistan's cricket team put up a solid performance against Afghanistan in the second ODI, securing a comfortable win by 1 wicket and series win 2-0 with one match to go. The match was held at Hambantota Stadium, and Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first. The Afghanistan team got off to an excellent, with the opening batsman putting up 227 runs opening stand. Rahmatullah Gurbaz was the top scorer with 151 runs, while Ibrahim Zadran made 80. The rest of the batting line-up failed to make an impact, and the team ended up posting 300-5 runs in 50 overs.  Pakistan beat Afghanistan in the first ODI by 142 runs. The stars for Pakistan were their ruthless pace trio of Shaheen, Naseem, and Haris Rauf. The trio put up an excellent show utilizing their pace and bounce as they ripped apart the Afghanistan batting order.  Shaheen started the innings with an excellent spell of 4 overs 2 maidens 2-9. Shaheen bowled with pace, bounce, and accuracy and he got the ball to move through the air and off the pitch superbly. The Afghanistan batsman had no answers to what Shaheen dished out at them.   The Proteas have announced their preliminary World cup squad and there are some interesting selections made by the selectors as Proteas only have one series left before the World cup. The Proteas 19 men squad looks strong and balanced, but the biggest question is will that remain the same when the squad is cut down to fifteen. The captain for Proteas is Bavuma who is a very calm and cool leader. He has adjusted to the leadership role very well and has the respect of his teammates. The team under his leadership is a very well-gelled unit.  The vice-captain of the team is Markram who has been seen as a leader from age group cricket. He and Bavuma have a great relationship and they work very well together bouncing ideas off each other.
