Liverpool still in race for top 4 and champions trophy place.

Liverpool has one goal and that is to win all their remaining games and then they are guaranteed a spot in the top 4. The reason being that Leicester and Chelsea play each other and Liverpool has played one game less than both so only one of them can win both games which leaves the door open for Liverpool to secure one spot in the top 4 edgings out one of Leicester or Chelsea.

As the Premier League 2020/21 season comes to an end only first place is secured with places from second to eighth still up for grabs. If you look closely the toughest battle going on is between 3rd to 5th place as they are so close to each other in terms of points. Leicester and Chelsea have two games left one which is against each other so winning the other game is very important for both teams to cause they know if they slip up then Liverpool will have the advantage as they have a game in hand. Leicester is the only team from the three that pose a threat to united but defeat in one of their last two games will all but confirm the united will finish second this season.

Liverpool will end on 69 should they win all their remaining games and Leciester will end on 72 should they win all their reaming games, Chelsea on the other end will end on 70 should they win both their reaming games but the scenario for Chelsea and Leicester is not that easy cause they play each other in one of their remaining games meaning that one of them will definitely drop points so we could see two options for and end here.

Option 1

Leicester wins both games and finishes on 72 which means they will finish in third or second depending on united results.
Liverpool wins all three and ends on 69 securing 4th place and a champions trophy spot.
Chelsea would have won 1 and lost 1 therefore they end on 67 and they are the team to miss out on the top 4 finish

Option 2

Chelsea win both games and finish on 70 points in third most probably
Liverpool win all three and finish on 69 and secured 4th place
Leicester win 1 lose 1 end on 69 and lose out on a top 4 spot to Liverpool on a goal difference

They are other scenarios that were in Chelsea and Leicester draw but the main point is Liverpool has to win all three of their remaining games to secure a top 4 spot.

So who do you people think is going to finish in the top 4 come to the end of this season. do give your thought in the comments

The second test match between Proteas and India kicked off on a high note with the hosts putting up a horrendous batting performance on day 1. The Proteas team won the toss and elected to bat first, but they failed to make the most of the opportunity as the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the home team's batting line-up bowling them out for 55. Pakistan vs Australia 2nd test Day 1 review

Australia and Pakistan faced off in the second Test match at MSG. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors started well with opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza getting the ball to move off the seam. However, the Australian batter struck back with a good opening partnership of 90 runs. Australia finished the day at 187/3 off 66 overs as rain played spoilsport, with Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal the pick of the bowlers. It was a tough day for the Pakistani bowlers as they struggled to cause Australian bowlers for long enough periods at a time, but they will look to bounce back on Day 2.
