Man City Looking to add third trophy to end season on a high

Man City having being crowned Champions of England for the 5th time will now look to claim their first-ever champions league title in the history of the club. If they do manage to win the champions league they will finish the season with three trophies to their name thus capping a great season for the blue half of Manchester.

With it now confirmed that City will be crown Premier League champions for the 5th time after united lost last night to Leister. The attention of the men from the blue half of Manchester will shift towards preparing to beat Chelsea to claim their first-ever champions league trophy.

This could be the best chance that the Man City club could ever have to win the champions league. As you know the competition is very tough when it comes to Europes best football tournament.

Also with UEFA changing the format in the next 2 years, this can only make the tournament get only tougher in terms of on a competitive basis. This is a tournament, where you come up against the best clubs European football, has to offer.

Man City has a very strong squad with a lot of resources which they utilize very well hence they have been winning at least 2 trophies every season for the last decade. They have managed to consistently finish in the top 4 of the Premier League because of the depth they have in their squad that they can cover for any injury concerns though the season. This strength in depth helps them to be consistently competitive across the four competitions they compete in every season.

I feel this could be the year that the blue half of Manchester finally claim European Glory for the first time in the modern era. The last time they won a major European title was 1970-71 then known as the European league. They won that title twice but have never won a Europa or Champions League title since the interception of the two competitions.

what are your people's thoughts and who are you supporting in the final  .... do leave your choices and opinions in the comments.

Australia resumed on 116-2 with Labuschange and Smith continuing to score steadily and take Australia closer to Pakistan's first innings score of 313. Australia then managed a few small partnerships to take their score to 289 before collapsing to 299 all out giving Pakistan a first-innings lead of 14 runs.  Pakistan began their 2nd innings in the worst way possible by losing 2 quick wickets in opener Abdulla Shafiq and Captain Shan Masood both for ducks. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam then gave Pakistan some hope with a partnership of 57 before Pakistan's batting collapsed from 58-2 to 68-7 to end the day staring at defeat and missing another chance to win their 1st test in 28 years.
