England vs New Zealand 1st Test Preview

Tomorrow the first test of the English summer will take start between host England and New Zealand. We will see a few Debuts in this match from both sides as well as through the series.

England will have a Debuting Wicketkeeper and maybe a bowler as well. With Foakes ruled out of the series we could see James Bracey who is not capped at the international level or Sam Billings who is capped in international limited-overs but yet to be capped at test level make their test debut. The other debut for England could come in the form of swing bowler Ollie Robinson. Robinson debut will depend on what formation England decide to go with.

England Probable XI:1 Rory Burns, 2 Dom Sibley,3 Zack Crawley, 4 Joe Root, 5 Ollie Pope,6 Dan Lawrence, 7 James Bracey,8  Craig Overton/Jack Leach,9 Stuart Broad, 10 Mark Wood,11  James Anderson

If Jack Leach plays then Broad and Wood will move one place up in the Batting order that's how I see it.

New Zealand is going to give Conway a debut as he has been selected ahead of Tom Blundell and Will Young for the opening slot. He will open the Batting alongside Tom Latham. the rest of the New Zealand side is a settled one which will be looking to get some game time ahead of the World test championship final.

New Zealand Probable XI: 1 Tom Latham, 2 Devon Conway, 3 Kane Williamson, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Henry Nicholls, 6 BJ Watling, 7 Mitchell Santner/Colin de Grandhomme/Daryl Mitchell, 8 Kyle Jamieson, 9 Tim Southee, 10 Matt Henry, 11 Neil Wagner

All-rounder slot I'm not sure who New Zealand will go for but I think depending on the conditions they will choose if they will go for the spinning all-rounder or either of the seam all-rounders.

These were my choices what are yours do share in the comments.

The Proteas are set to face India in a three-match ODI series, starting on December 17, 2023. The series will be played in Johannesburg, Gqeberha, and Paarl. South Africa comes into the series with a relatively young team that is still finding its feet in international cricket. The likes of Tony de Zorzi, Kyle Verreynne, and Wiaan Mulder will be looking to make an impact in the series and cement their place in the team. On the other hand, India also has a very young and inexperienced ODI squad, led by the likes of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.
