Smackdown Review : Tribal Chief destroys Mysterios

Smackdown started off with the Tribal chief and Paul Heyman coming to the ring. Roman got on the mic and said he believes in being straight up about how he feels. He said last week he was not happy but after thinking about it over the last week he has had a change of mind about his cousin's tag title opportunity.

He then said that Jimmy said last week that they will win so he is saying they better win. He then asks Heyman to get him his cousins.

The Usos come out and Jey hugs Roman. Roman then tells Jimmy it's his turn to acknowledge him. Jimmy says he already did at Hell in a cell and tonight is about becoming 7-time champs. It's about making the family proud. Roman then tells them good luck and that the whole family is watching so better get the job done.

Match 1

Mysterios defend the tag championships against the Usos

This was a good match as both teams had an equal amount of offence and it ended up with the Mysterios winning after Domnik revered a splash from Jimmy into a roll-up pin for the win

Roman was shown watching the match and he then told Heyman to bring his cousins to him.

backstage Roman was asking the Usos how could they lose to a child and that they better go find Adam Pearce and fix this as they still have time left in the show.

Then there was an interview as Kayla Braxton interviewed Seth Rollins

Kayla asked Cesaro about his attack on Cesaro from a few weeks ago. She says Cesaro is Seth very resilient. Seth cuts her off and says he owes nobody an explanation. Kayla says true but everyone knows Cesaro never gives up and what will happen when he returns. Seth removes his microphone and leaves.

Backstage with the street profits and Chad Gable. Chad asks the profits to join Alpha academy but they refuse and laugh at him and walk off.

The Usos tell Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville that they were cheated and want another match. Adam says the referee made a mistake but his decision is final. Sonya says they will look into it and let them know their decision.

Then Carmella beat Liv Morgan which was just a random match

Adam Pearce was shown talking to the Msyterios who was about to leave and told them that the referee made a mistake and that they would have to defend the titles again tonight. They accepted

Bianca then cut a promo on Bayley saying that Bayley is jealous and that she tried to put her down by laughing at her but nobody is laughing with her they all laughing at her. She then challenged Bayley to a match at hell in a cell.

Bayley then showed up on the big screen and accepted the challenge and then she starts laughing and then all the LED boards showing Bayley laughing.

Backstage Otis confronted the Street Profits telling them Chad was just trying to help them but what did they do to him. The profits say Otis hasn't accomplished anything since joining chad and he should leave Chad. Otis attacked them and walked off.

King Corbin then beat Nakamura but failed to get his crown back.

Commander Azeez attacked Kevin Owens backstage as he was making his way to the ring. Apollo just laughed at Owens.

Apollo beat Owens to retain the Intercontinental Championship after taking advantage of Owens being injured before the match he hit the death valley driver on the ring apron for the win.

Sami Zayn ran to the ring and hit Owens with the helluva kick

The street profits then challenged the Alpha Academy to a match next week.

The main event was the Mysterios defending the tag championship against the Usos

The Mysterios defeat the Usos by disqualification. this was due to Roman who hit Rey with a spear. Roman basically destroyed the Mysterious. He then told the Usos to join him but Jimmy said no not like this. Smackdown ended with Roman beating up Dominik Mysterio

Proteas vs India 2nd test Day 1 review

The second test match between Proteas and India kicked off on a high note with the hosts putting up a horrendous batting performance on day 1. The Proteas team won the toss and elected to bat first, but they failed to make the most of the opportunity as the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the home team's batting line-up bowling them out for 55. He was equally supported by Mukesh and Bumrah both taking 2 wickets each.  The Indian team lost their first wicket early on, with Jaiswal departing for a duck. Pakistan vs Australia 2nd test Day 1 review

Australia and Pakistan faced off in the second Test match at MSG. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors started well with opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza getting the ball to move off the seam. However, the Australian batter struck back with a good opening partnership of 90 runs. Australia finished the day at 187/3 off 66 overs as rain played spoilsport, with Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal the pick of the bowlers. It was a tough day for the Pakistani bowlers as they struggled to cause Australian bowlers for long enough periods at a time, but they will look to bounce back on Day 2. The Australian batsman will be aiming to put up a big total for their bowlers to bowl too. Overall, it was an exciting day of Test cricket and fans can look forward to more action in the coming days.  Writer: Ebrahim Yusuf Omar
