South Africa complete Dominating win

South Africa bowled West Indies out on Day 4 to complete a 158 run win and also finish in 5th in the World Test Championship.

The South African victory was guided by the history-making Maharaj who took a hat trick and became only the second South African player to take a test hat trick. The last being 60 years ago by Geoff Griffin against England in 1960. Maharaj triple strike put South Africa well on the way to victory and they came out after lunch a wrapped the game up as Maharaj got his 6th test 5 wicket haul.

The South African bowlers were once again relentless with their line and lengths and they kept the pressure on the West Indies batsman. This Victory sealed the series 2-0 and also a great start to a new era under captain Elgar.

Australia vs Pakistan 3rd test day 3 review

The third day of the third Test match between Australia and Pakistan was exciting, with both teams battling it out on the field. Australia resumed on 116-2 with Labuschange and Smith continuing to score steadily and take Australia closer to Pakistan's first innings score of 313. Labuschange and Smith added 71 runs before both Smith and Labuschange lost their wickets one after the other. Australia then managed a few small partnerships to take their score to 289 before collapsing to 299 all out giving Pakistan a first-innings lead of 14 runs.  Pakistan began their 2nd innings in the worst way possible by losing 2 quick wickets in opener Abdulla Shafiq and Captain Shan Masood both for ducks. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam then gave Pakistan some hope with a partnership of 57 before Pakistan's batting collapsed from 58-2 to 68-7 to end the day staring at defeat and missing another chance to win their 1st test in 28 years. Pakistan last won a test match in Australia in 1995...

SA20 review

The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage.  The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.  SA20 season 2 saw some unbelievable performances with quite a few young South African players taking the opportunity and shining. The young standout SA batsman were:  Rickelton 530 runs ave 58.88, strike-rate 173.77 Breetzke 416 runs ave 32, strike-rate 135.50  Stubbs 301 runs ave 60.20, strike-rate, 168.15   Mulder 297 runs...
