Proteas vs Australia 3rd test preview

The series has been won by Australia, but the 3rd test still has some high stakes to play for. Australia wins and confirms a spot in the WTC final while for Proteas a win keeps them in the race to make the WTC final.

The pitch at the SCG is looking dry as can be seen in the pic below. This leaves open the possibility of both teams playing 2 spinners.

Australia have made 3 changes for this match 2 injury forced and one is the return of a fully fit Hazelwood. The other 2 changes are Agar for Starc and Renshaw for Green.

Proteas have made 2 changes with Klaasen in for De Bruyn and Harmer in for Ngidi.

Australia have won the toss and chose to bat

SA20 review

The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage.  The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.  SA20 season 2 saw some unbelievable performances with quite a few young South African players taking the opportunity and shining. The young standout SA batsman were:  Rickelton 530 runs ave 58.88, strike-rate 173.77 Breetzke 416 runs ave 32, strike-rate 135.50  Stubbs 301 runs ave 60.20, strike-rate, 168.15   Mulder 297 runs...

SA20 match 13 Preview

SA20 match 2nd match today is a repeat of yesterday's encounter at the Wanderers. The Pretoria Capitals vs the Joburg Super Kings at Supersport park Centurion tonight.  The Capitals will be looking to put yesterday's defeat behind them and use their home conditions to get one back at the Super kings.  The Super Kings will want to continue to build some momentum on yesterday's victory and beat their neighbours for a 2nd day straight. Both teams might rotate their fast bowlers as they look to manage their workload going further into the competition.  I think Centurion will be a good pitch to bat on and the team chasing should win this one. News from the toss is Capitals have won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Capitals are unchanged while Super Kings have made 2 changes.  Pretoria Capitals: 1: Phil Salt, 2: Will Jacks, 3: Rilee Rossouw, 4: Theunis de Bruyn, 5: Shane Dadswell, 6: James Neesham, 7: Ethan Bosh, 8: Wayne Parnell, 9: Migael Pretorius, 10: Adil R...
