SA20 match 17 review

 This was a low-scoring thriller between the Sunrisers and Super Kings. The bowlers on both teams were excellent. The batsman struggled on this pitch and there were only a few who contributed significantly. The Sunrise's best batsman were Rossington 40 off 31, JJ Smuts 22 off 18 and Fuller 27 of 20. 

The Super Kings best batsman were Faf du Plessis 37 of 38 and du Plooy 47 off 40. The best bowlers for Super Kings were Phangiso 4-20 and Coetzee 4-24. The Sunrisers best bowlers were van de Merwe 2-16 and Smuts 1-8. 

The conditions during the match were not easy for batting. The Super Kings batters adapted better which is why they won the match by 5 wickets as they were patient and waited for the bad balls and put them away.

SA20 review

 The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage.  The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.  SA20 season 2 saw some unbelievable performances with quite a few young South African players taking the opportunity and shining. Proteas vs England 3rd ODI

  The ODI series between Proteas and England ended with a 2-1 win for the Proteas. The series has been competitive and entertaining.  Proteas won the toss and chose to bowl. They started off well but then Buttler and Malan put together a partnership of 232 off 211. This partnership brought England right back into the match as they recovered from 14 for 3 to post 346-7 in their 50 overs.  In reply, the Proteas were always ahead of the scoring rate, the only problem was they lost wickets at regular intervals, which is why they ended up being bowled out for 287. Archer was the star picking up 6-40 of 9.1 overs. England won the match by 59 runs.
