SA20 match 3 SEC vs Pc preview

Today the 3rd match of the SA20 will take place in Gqeberha. This is another pitch which should provide assistance to the spinners and can be on the slower side. The average 1st innings score at this ground is 131 in T20 internationals.

History suggests this is a hard ground to chase on as this is a pitch that gets tougher to bat on. I'm backing the chasing side to pull off a win today as it will be the first time in a while a match is being played under lights at St George's Park Gqeberha.

The two teams look very balanced and also both have so good depth players to look out for will be Jordan Hermann, Aiden Markram, Junaid Dawood, and Ottniel Baartman for the Sunrisers and Ethan Bosh, Shane Dadswell, Marco Marais and Migael Pretorius for Capitals.

 Predicted teams

Sunrisers Eastern Cape: 1: Jordan Hermann, 2: Aiden Markram, 3: Marques Ackerman, 4: JJ Smuts, 5: Tristan Stubbs, 6: Jordan Cox, 7: Tom Abell, 8: Roelof van der Merwe, 9: Marco Jansen, 10: Junaid Dawood, 11: Mason Crane

Proteas vs India ODI series Preview

The Proteas are set to face India in a three-match ODI series, starting on December 17, 2023. The series will be played in Johannesburg, Gqeberha, and Paarl. South Africa comes into the series with a relatively young team that is still finding its feet in international cricket. The likes of Tony de Zorzi, Kyle Verreynne, and Wiaan Mulder will be looking to make an impact in the series and cement their place in the team. On the other hand, India also has a very young and inexperienced ODI squad, led by the likes of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. The Indian team will be looking to continue their dominance in the limited-overs format of the game after an excellent World Cup where they went unbeaten for 10 matches before falling short in the final. The Proteas had a successful World Cup as well which saw their campaign end in the semifinals and they will also be looking to build on that as they look to build a team for the Champions Trophy 2025.  This is the first ODI for both teams since th

Pakistan vs Australia 2nd test Day 1 review

Australia and Pakistan faced off in the second Test match at MSG. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors started well with opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza getting the ball to move off the seam. However, the Australian batter struck back with a good opening partnership of 90 runs. Australia finished the day at 187/3 off 66 overs as rain played spoilsport, with Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal the pick of the bowlers. It was a tough day for the Pakistani bowlers as they struggled to cause Australian bowlers for long enough periods at a time, but they will look to bounce back on Day 2. The Australian batsman will be aiming to put up a big total for their bowlers to bowl too. Overall, it was an exciting day of Test cricket and fans can look forward to more action in the coming days.  Writer: Ebrahim Yusuf Omar
