SA20 Match 11 review

This was a fantastic last-over thriller match. Super Kings started off slow but then got going and thanks to Leus de Plooy who scored 75 off 40 including 7 4s and 5 6s at a strike rate of 187.50 the Super Kings got to a competitive 168 in their 20 overs.

The Capital's best bowlers were Nortje with 2-26 in his 4 overs and Ethan bosh with 3-12 in his 3 overs.
In the chase, the Capitals never really got going as their batsman got starts and then lost their wicket. Super King's best bowler was Phangiso who took 4-32 from his 4 overs and Sheperd who took 2-28 from his 4 overs

I was there live at the match and the support for the home team was tremendous as they backed them right till the last ball. The Super Kings won by 6 runs in the end but it did look like the Capitals would be taken home by their captain Parnell he got stuck at the non-striker's end as the last 2 wickets fell in quick succession to hand the Super Kings their 2nd win of the competition.

If you want some live videos from the live game, I will be uploading them on my Ebiessporttalk insta page and YouTube channel.

South Africa comes into the series with a relatively young team that is still finding its feet in international cricket. The likes of Tony de Zorzi, Kyle Verreynne, and Wiaan Mulder will be looking to make an impact in the series and cement their place in the team. On the other hand, India also has a very young and inexperienced ODI squad, led by the likes of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. The Indian team will be looking to continue their dominance in the limited-overs format of the game after an excellent World Cup where they went unbeaten for 10 matches before falling short in the final. The Proteas had a successful World Cup as well which saw their campaign end in the semifinals and they will also be looking to build on that as they look to build a team for the Champions Trophy 2025.  This is the first ODI for both teams since th

Pakistan vs Australia 2nd test Day 1 review

Australia and Pakistan faced off in the second Test match at MSG. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors started well with opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza getting the ball to move off the seam. However, the Australian batter struck back with a good opening partnership of 90 runs. Australia finished the day at 187/3 off 66 overs as rain played spoilsport, with Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal the pick of the bowlers. It was a tough day for the Pakistani bowlers as they struggled to cause Australian bowlers for long enough periods at a time, but they will look to bounce back on Day 2. The Australian batsman will be aiming to put up a big total for their bowlers to bowl too. Overall, it was an exciting day of Test cricket and fans can look forward to more action in the coming days.  Writer: Ebrahim Yusuf Omar
