SA20 match 15 preview

Durban Super Giants vs Pretoria Capitals at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium. The Capitals will come in with all the momentum having won 3 of their 4 matches. The Super Giants are coming off a loss to the Royals and will want to utilize home conditions to get back to winning ways. 

Depending on pitch conditions you see teams going for 2 or 3 spinners combination as Kingsmead pitch has been on the slower side in recent times. The pitch has been good so far in the 2 games played at Kingsmead and I hope to see another good encounter score will be around the 170 to 180 mark. 

I don't expect teams to make too many changes as both have settled team combinations and the only changes I see is based on the conditions of the pitch. 

I think the team winning the toss will bowl first preferring to chase under lights. Kingsmead is a place where dew can play a role at night so chasing seems the better option usually on this ground.

SA20 review

 The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage.  The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.  SA20 season 2 saw some unbelievable performances with quite a few young South African players taking the opportunity and shining. Proteas vs England 3rd ODI

  The ODI series between Proteas and England ended with a 2-1 win for the Proteas. The series has been competitive and entertaining.  Proteas won the toss and chose to bowl. They started off well but then Buttler and Malan put together a partnership of 232 off 211. This partnership brought England right back into the match as they recovered from 14 for 3 to post 346-7 in their 50 overs.  In reply, the Proteas were always ahead of the scoring rate, the only problem was they lost wickets at regular intervals, which is why they ended up being bowled out for 287. Archer was the star picking up 6-40 of 9.1 overs. England won the match by 59 runs.
