SA20 match 6 preview

SA20 has a doubleheader today that first sees the Pretoria Capitals vs Sunrisers Eastern Cape at Supersport Park Centurion. The 2 teams had a very good match 2 days ago when both teams faced each other at St Goerges Park Gqeberha. The match was high scoring as it saw PC post 193 batting first before SEC in reply scored 170 to hand PC a 23-run win. 

The Supersport park centurion should be a better pitch to bat on and should offer something for the fast bowlers. It is an afternoon match and I expect scores to go over 200 in this match. Hoping to see some good entertainment for the matches.

I think both teams will make changes looking to add to the fast-bowling department and batting department.

SA20 review

 The SA20 season 2 has ended with Sunrisers Eastern Cape successfully defending their title to win back-to-back titles. The Sunrisers were the team to beat as they played an excellent brand of cricket and dominated throughout the tournament winning 7 matches and losing 2 with 1 no result to top the table in the league stage.  The final of SA20 season 2 was played by the 2 best teams of the tournament the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Durban Super Giants. Sunrisers proved too good for Super Giants beating them by 89 runs to not only successfully defend their SA20 title but also win the head-to-head between the 2 teams 3-1.  SA20 season 2 saw some unbelievable performances with quite a few young South African players taking the opportunity and shining. Proteas vs England 3rd ODI

  The ODI series between Proteas and England ended with a 2-1 win for the Proteas. The series has been competitive and entertaining.  Proteas won the toss and chose to bowl. They started off well but then Buttler and Malan put together a partnership of 232 off 211. This partnership brought England right back into the match as they recovered from 14 for 3 to post 346-7 in their 50 overs.  In reply, the Proteas were always ahead of the scoring rate, the only problem was they lost wickets at regular intervals, which is why they ended up being bowled out for 287. Archer was the star picking up 6-40 of 9.1 overs. England won the match by 59 runs.
