SA20 match 9 review

The Sunrisers have won their first match of the SA20. They beat MI Cape Town by 4 wickets in a last-over finish. The Sunrisers were excellent in this match as they won the toss and chose to bowl, they were good with the ball from the start with the stars being Magala and Markram. Magala took 2-22 in 4 overs and Markram 2-8 in 2 overs.

Markram was the Star of the night as he added to his contribution with the ball by scoring 50 off 35, including 7 4s at a Strike rate of 142.85. Markram's performance was tremendous as he led from the front and took his team to their first victory in the competition.

MI Cape Town Goerge Linde was the star with the bat for them as he got them to a competitive total of 158-8. He scored 63 off 28, including 4 4s and 5 6s at a strike rate of 225. Linde efforts were not enough as the MI Cape Town could not defend the total. The match did get close as it went right down to the last over of the match.

The pitch was on the slower side, but the match was very entertaining as the battle between bat and ball was amazing to watch.

World test championship final

India vs New Zealand is where the focus of most cricket lovers is right now as both teams get ready to clash in the final of the world test championship. Proteas vs India 2nd test Day 1 review

The second test match between Proteas and India kicked off on a high note with the hosts putting up a horrendous batting performance on day 1. The Proteas team won the toss and elected to bat first, but they failed to make the most of the opportunity as the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the home team's batting line-up bowling them out for 55. Mohammed Siraj was the chief destroyer with 6 wickets for 15 runs in 9 overs. He was equally supported by Mukesh and Bumrah both taking 2 wickets each. The Indian team lost their first wicket early on, with Jaiswal departing for a duck. The rest of the top-order batsmen struggled to get going as well, and the team was bowled out for 153. However, a brilliant counter-attacking innings from Markram helped the home team to 62-3 at stumps to steady the ship. CSA 4 Day series Review

The CSA 4 day series has come to an end with Titans being crowned champions of division 1 and Northen Cape Heat champions of division 2. There have been some great performances through the season with both divisions going into the last round with 3 teams still having a chance to win the tournament. Division 2 was most dominated by Northern Cape Heat for the first couple of rounds until the loss to South Western Districts in beating Northern Cape South Western Districts kept their hopes alive as well as the Tuskers going into the last round any of these 3 could have been crowned champions. It was the Northern Cape Heat who would come out on top after drawing the match while the Hollywoodbets Tuskers also settled for a draw and the South Western Districts lost their match.
