The Sunrisers put in a fantastic performance to beat the Super Giants convincingly by 124 runs. The Sunrisers' batters were excellent with Rossington 72 of 30, Hermann 59 of 44, Markram 44 of 34 and Stubbs 27 of 13 as the Sunrisers posted 210-2 in their 20 overs.

The Super Giants bowlers struggled as all off them were taken to the cleaners by the Sunrisers batsman. The Super Giants batsman didn't do any better as they were bowled out for 86. The best bowler for the Sunrises was Roloef van der Merwe 6-20 from his 4 overs. With the other bowlers supported him well as they put in a clinical performance to claim a massive bonus point win.

Australia and Pakistan faced off in the second Test match at MSG. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors started well with opening bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Mir Hamza getting the ball to move off the seam. Australia finished the day at 187/3 off 66 overs as rain played spoilsport, with Hasan Ali, Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal the pick of the bowlers.
