The Capitals beat MI Cape Town convincingly to earn another bonus point win. The Capitals were excellent with both bat and ball. Will Jacks led the way with the bat as he scored 62 off 27 as the Capitals posted 182-8 in their 20 overs.
The MI Cape Town captain Rashid Khan was the best bowler as he took 3-16 in his 4 overs he also reached 500 T20 career wickets. The MI Cape Town team looked good in the chase while Brevis was at the crease as he scored 46 off 30. Once he and Sam Curran 22 off 18 wickets fell the rest of the batsmen didn't show any resistance as they were bowled out for 130.
The Capital's best bowlers were Parnell 3-14 and Nortje 3-22.
This loss means MI Cape Town have dropped to 4th in the table and will need to win their reaming 3 matches if they are to have a chance to make the semifinals.
